"Filter Bubbles", "Mind Control & the Internet", & "Clive Thompson on High-Bandwidth Buddies"

I never wonder that there is a filter online before watch this video, I feel a little shake about it. I learn that our information is really catch by the network, they know what we are interesting on and give us what we usually read or watch. But maybe not we need. (Filter Bubbles). The article, "Clive Thompson on High-Bandwidth Buddies", I feel it have some against of the idea of filter bubbles. They recommended people  look for something is new to them, and not stick in their own world, to see the wide of the world. (Clive Thompson on High-Bandwidth Buddies)

Michael Chorost, one of man who benefited from the brain computer. He believe that people sure try the brain computer. He even have a memoir called Rebuilt: How Becoming Part Computer Made Me More Human. He believes that people will become wide knowledge with the brain computer because  network has everything on it.(Mind Control & the Internet) This is very connect to the idea of "Clive Thompson on High-Bandwidth Buddies". But think in another way as the video "Beware online "filter bubbles", the internet will filter the information. You can still get a wrong information with the brain computer. 

How Obama Really Did It (Part 2)

Mr. President Obama make a great use of internet that other candidates never think about. He and his campaigns create a webpage: www.my.barackobama.com, which also call MyBO. They use this online website to send our information of his voting progress. And they kept sending out mails and message to the voters, this way they can gathering supports from the voters. The predecessors of President Obama did not come up and have not occasion for, they didn't live in the same period of time as Obama where full of network technology. 

I think this is a great idea. First, United States is a huge and fast information transfer country, people aren't being able to keep on track on one information/issue, they will rapidly get into another issue, especially with the internet. Obama's plan makes him keep on track with the voters.  Second, people will pay more attention on the internet than on the newspaper, this gives Obama a superiority, people will know more about him than other candidates. Therefore, Obama get more chance to win the voting.

Growing up Online (PBS.org)

Internet is one major parts of people's life in the 21st century. More and more people use internet as their daily basic. This is not only for the adults but also kids and teenage. With the technology developments on  the internet, people now can use internet contact with friends, family, and even with strangers. But the developments aren't always good. There always some invisible dangers hide behind the network. Predators are all over the network, and people have not idea of who is and who's not. Parents who care about their kids growing see it as a harsh warning. 

Newspapers, magazines, and journals  had post many issues about kidnapping, suicide, and dissipated of the kids and teenage. And most of these problem, bring us to a deep sense of the online communications. Yes, this is the dangers of the internet that people haven't wonder before. With these understanding of the network, parents start thinking about limit the chance of their kids go online, or ask for all things their children do online. BUT, because most of children today growing up with the network, with a little bit of exaggerate, they cannot survive without internet. However, I think networks are important to the people, and they are helpful in another hand.  We can get any information we need, and have more joy of life. We can avoid the dangers if we have a reason mind.
